Good day troops,
Just a quick note to keep everyone up to date on a few events and gatherings over the next few months. Firstly, my apologies to everyone for having my finger stuck too far up my ass and I’ve had a few challenges getting it out. Almost had to have surgery to get it removed. LOL! Nevertheless:

This Thursday 29th October will be our Coffee Morning for the month. I understand that Col. Gonsalves was the only person who made it to September’s morning, and he felt a bit lonely. Well, you know what they say when you are at the top. Nevertheless, let’s try to get around to Two Fish in a Barrelacross from Master’s, from 7.30am. Pass the word on to others who have served and enjoy some great company and conversation.

As we all know, November is just around the corner which means we will have the honour and privilege of marching a guard on parade for the Remembrance Day Parade, paying respect and homage to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and service to their countries.
Parade rehearsal will be on Sunday 8th November, with assembly at 0730hrs at No. 1 Car Park.
The parade will be on Wednesday 11th November.
If you are intending on marching on the day you will need to report to No. 1 Car Park for 1000hrs for a 1030hrs form-up. Please contact me at 533-2584 or trfc14@hotmail.com. We have been given permission to march a guard of 30 persons.
The Commanding Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment has generously invited all those who participate and RBRA members to join the veterans for lunch on the conclusion of the parade at the Bermuda Sailors’ Home (Mariners’ Club) on Richmond Rd. Once again please let me know if you wish to attend so the regiment can prepare adequate food.

Finally, keep your ear to the ground as the festive season will soon be upon us and despite my best efforts of keeping “my finger stuck” we will have a date and location for a Beer Call Social that I hope you all can attend. Vice-president Roderick Spencer and I will throw a few shackles behind the bar to cover the first few drinks. Look forward to seeing you over the next few weeks and catching up.
Regards,
Capt. A. R. Harvey
President
